Into the Fractal-verse with John Cordy

Not your average YouTube guitar sensation, John has fast gained a world-wide reputation as a player with impeccable taste as well as chops, and the ability to coax the most amazing tones out of his Fractal modellers. He creates weekly videos showcasing the vast sonic possibilities with Fractal and shares his knowledge for others to learn how to create amazing tones for themselves.

From the tender age of 5, John played Piano. After denting his Dad’s acoustic guitar, and hitting his older brother with a Ukulele; it wouldn’t be until he was 8 that he would get his hands back on a guitar shaped instrument.

Guitar became a daily obsession from that point on, and throughout the rest of his childhood he would play in church bands and a number of dodgy rap rock bands throughout the years.

Career “highlights” include original electronic trio “BOA” getting not only national radio play but also placement on Amazon’s “Jack Ryan”. John was also asked to play on Marillion keyboard player Mark Kelly’s Marathon album – recording for which took place at Peter Gabriel’s Real World Studios.

He now makes daily videos each with an improvised introduction and a focus around guitars, gear and lessons.
