SOUNDS I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR FOR OVER 40 YEARS

Hello Jacques,

After intensive familiarisation with this wonderful AXE FXIII system and the FC6 and FC12 controllers, I have to admit after just under 3 weeks - sensationally good, and I can realise exactly the sounds that I have been looking for for over 40 years. The money I could have saved, not to mention all the lugging around of various tube amps and 4x12 cabinets… Super classy and extremely addictive - you just can't drag yourself away. You are absolutely right - this really is a guitarist's delight - thank you for it.

I wanted to give you some quick feedback. Quite apart from the fact that the ordering process worked brilliantly and quickly, and that I'm thrilled with the Axe FX 3 after the first few days, it's the little things around it that really stand out. It starts with the idea of the T-shirt, continues with a handwritten name on the envelope, and ends with the Merci pack. That's what I call a positive customer experience. Simply great!

DAMN IT, THIS IS CRAZY

Damn it, this is crazy! The new AxeFX is exactly what I had hoped for - only even better!

Having skipped the second generation this is a real quantum leap for me. It all just sounds so real!

I may just be a very average guitarist, but it is such good fun being able to at least sound like a great one - with all the sounds we know and love from our favourite bands! Now I can finally hear just how different my guitars really sound...

And so far I've only tried out a few of the factory presets and changed very little.

Fantastic! Sorry, have to stop writing... there's a guitar to play ?!

I AM SIMPLY THRILLED!!! 100% AMP FEELING - IT WAS MERCILESSLY COOL!

I wanted to give you a small interim report on the FM3. I am simply thrilled! The amp simulations are worlds better than those of the Helix. The feeling of "hanging" on a real amp is, in my opinion, 100% there. The interaction of the guitar, the volume pot of the guitar, it’s all really great!  

Yesterday afternoon/evening was the first rehearsal with the FM3. It was mercilessly awesome and such good fun! 

As for the FM9, Jacques, please keep my order open! When it is available > email me please!!! I mainly want to play the FM9 and have the FM3 with me as a back-up.

By the way: The German axefx.de forum is mega! I have already received VERY GOOD competent help there!!!! That is really impressive!

I am absolutely thrilled! Many thanks also for the tasty addition! Of course, I immediately started to explore the FM3. I think my family will have to do without my presence for a while;). I have printed out the excellent user manual and will work through it bit by bit. The tutorials on your site are also very helpful, especially those by Bernd Kiltz.  It's fun to get to know the device with its many sounds and possibilities. I will soon be able to do without my tube amps and stomp boxes once I have mastered the FM3 and configured it for my needs.

EXTREMELY WELL-EQUIPPED GUITAR SHOP FOR ME ALONE – REALLY GENIAL!

Simply unbelievably good! I've been enjoying the fantastic sound in the rehearsal room for 4 hours.

The FM3 is very easy to use (I can't understand the reviews on the net, it couldn't be simpler and more flexible): Pick amp and cap, add a bit of reverb, tremolo in front of the amp, an analogue delay behind it, a drive in front of it, gate between amp and cap, EQ behind it, a bit of treble off, a bit less bass, add a phaser. What can I say? Within half an hour I had such a grandiose setup with 6 scenes that I've been enjoying it ever since and can't get enough of playing.

I just turned on the MF.10 (with ear protection) (output at +4 dBu). What a riot! I think that should really be enough volume reserves for any situation. I'm flabbergasted...

For the next few weeks I'll have to "rummage" through the range of amplifiers and caps ;-) I feel like I have an extremely well-equipped guitar shop all to myself. Really ingenious!

Thanks for the checkup and the update. The box is running perfectly! By the way, the cooler hasn't started up once in the 4 hours (or so quietly that I didn't hear it during the breaks in playing). Here are a few impressions and greetings from the rehearsal room.

The reason I haven't contacted you yet is that I'm up to my ears in FX III ;-) . Apart from the fact that everything has arrived in one piece and is working, I would like to tell you that I am thrilled ... even more:

I am overwhelmed!   I was already spoiled by the "Helix", but the machines from you/Fractal Audio are a completely different dimension.

First of all, I set up a few things on the "FX III" to suit my needs, adjusted the "FC-12" configuration and then, late yesterday afternoon, I started listening to the presets; I didn't get any further than no. 0030, as there are usually up to eight scenes each, but I am absolutely "blown away"!

And I also enjoyed "shopping" with you. You were very friendly and patient with me ... thank you very much, Jacques!

So, I’ll join the chorus of the many G66/Fractal Audio enthusiasts and remain ...

THE FM3 IS SURELY IN A DIFFERENT LEAGUE AT THE MOMENT!

The "Guitarist’s Delight FM3" arrived here safe and sound today and I would like to thank you most sincerely for the nice little attention to detail – in the form of a box of MERCI. Not everyone does this, but it's a lot of fun to deal with people who are so cool! Thanks again for this attention!

About the equipment – what can I say? - I have had many things. From Line 6 Series to Eleven to Headrush Gigboard and Kemper. The FM3 is surely in a different league at the moment (although I also really appreciate the sounds of the Kemper, but that's a different method) and I can't get a big, stupid grin off my face ;)

Now I think I'll save up a bit, because there's still room in my studio desk for one or the other 19" built-in unit - so why not the big brother of the FM3?

"TRUE HAPPINES FOR GUITARISTS" REALLY WASN'T AN EXAGGERATION!!

Once again: congratulations on your sales approach! It really is fun to receive such a parcel with an envelope with your handwritten name on it. And then the enthusiastic letter. The quick start instructions deserve a special mention - meanwhile many have recognised the necessity for that kind of thing (with cheet sheets etc), but no-one before you has hit the nail on the head with important things being explained in a simple (but not too simple) way and without getting lost in too much detail. And the occasional reminders (look for a nice preset and play some guitar…) are the icing on the cake.

By the way, I have no idea how long I spent playing when I plugged the AXE-FX in for the first time, but it was a long time. Much longer than I actually had time for…. :-)

I'd like to take this opportunity to request a possible future update: given the huge amount of incredible and surprising presets, it would be very useful to be able to give a "like" at the touch of a button. Especially when zapping through the presets looking for a particular sound, you often stumble across something that you would like to use later, but generally have a guitar in your hands and not a pencil….!

Yes, there are favourites banks for this, but it would be good to be able to have the favourites in a big pool before sorting through them more carefully. Of course, it might well be that this function already exists and I'll discover it when I study the manual more closely…

Anyway, I have come to the conclusion that I can now part with my remaining digital and synth stompboxes, as the AXE really has everything in it. (Only the Gamechangeraudio devices will have to stay - they simply look too good and I think the PLUS functionality is already in the AXE…..?)

Unfortunately, the AXEFX will soon be disappearing into the rack at the rehearsal room and I won't be able to spend every evening exploring its possibilities on the sofa!

So, once again many thanks for the quick delivery, etc.

True happines for guitarists really wasn't an exaggeration!

The FM3 arrived today. Wow! Many thanks for the super-fast processing. Then I opened the package. I was very pleased with the contents. I quickly listened to the factory sounds and, after studying numerous videos, created my first own preset.

What can I say? MEGA! This thing is awesome.  One thing's for sure: KÖNIGSBRUNN IS FM3!

Today I PLAYED for the first time in a very long time and didn't constantly try to make the sound even better. And that with a brand new device.

first of all, many thanks for your nice mail. This transparency in the ordering process and these fine little details, like the chocolate, the T-shirt and the personal envelope are just great! Many thanks for that! I had ordered the FM3 as a B-stock, but it looks like new. :)

I've already been through a few things: HX Stomp, I have a Kemper here, but somehow I always miss something that my amps give me (Friedman and Morgan). With the FM3 it’s different: a much more transparent sound, logically structured despite its complexity and not that difficult to configure. I compared the FM3 Smallbox amp with my real Smallbox 50 earlier and the sound is spot-on. The Kemper couldn't capture this amp, the FM3 does.

I didn't think I'd be won over by this thing so quickly. Finally, proper mobile recording! :)

MY GUITARS NOW SOUND BETTER AND THAT INSPIRES ME TO PLAY MORE AND BETTER

Just want to thank you! Your handling of my purchase of the FM3 has been a pleasure. It took some time for you to get the units to stock but that's not your fault. When they were delayed a couple of days you let me know by email. I appreciate that. When you got the units you sent me the paying details and 4 days after my payment I had the unit delivered. One or two of these days must have been bank business, so very fast delivery. 

The FM3 itself is a fantastic piece of gear. Sounds much better than the previous modelers I have tried. (Headrush, Line6 Helix LT and Ampero One). The factory sounds in the FM3 are 90% nice sounding to me, whereas on all the other units it was the other way around, 90% crap!

One more thing: my FM3 came with the latest 4.0 Cygnus firmware that was just recently released. That was really impressive customer support! 

I could go on with how my guitars now sound better than I thought was possible and how that inspires me to play more and better, but I'm sure you have heard that before. ??????

I don't think there is anything comparable anywhere in the world. Thanks to Fractal Audio, my search for the Holy Grail of guitar sound had come to an end.

Now I'm all tingly and can hardly wait to unpack the new FM3 and fire it up.
